Exhibitors 2026

Companies / SMF members:

Sweden’s Leading Numismatic Auction House

We are Sweden’s leading numismatic auction house and the world’s largest dedicated marketplace for Swedish coins. Our roots can be traced back to the Swedish Numismatic Society, making us the custodians of a nearly century-long auction tradition.

A portion of our proceeds supports numismatic research and publishing. Today, we also maintain a close partnership with Künker in Germany, Europe’s largest coin auction house.

We buy, sell and appraise coins and banknotes, with a particular focus on Swedish and foreign banknotes. We are members of SMF, SNF, ANA (American Numismatic Association) and IBNS (International Bank Note Society), and are also an official Leuchtturm retailer.

Our selection caters to both professional dealers and collectors, with something for experienced numismatists as well as those who are curious about starting a collection.

Swedish Royal & Portrait Medals

Come by and be inspired! Many of these medals commemorate important historical events and celebrations, offering a tangible connection to the past. There is something special about holding them in your hand and feeling the weight of history.

I hope that you, too, as a visitor will be inspired by the many beautiful and fascinating objects on display—just as I am.

With 30 years of experience in professional coin trading, the business specializes in Swedish coins from the Viking Age to modern times, banknotes, medals, and plate money, as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins and numismatic literature. In addition to coin trading, operations include numismatic research, authorship, and an independent publishing house. These publications have been awarded five international book prizes.

Coins from Fascinating Collections

We will be showcasing nearly one hundred carefully selected coins from a couple of older private collections, with prices ranging from affordable pieces up to SEK 10,000. One highlight is a selection of around 50 coins from the collection of a sailor from Bohuslän who travelled the world by sea during the 1930s–60s and collected coins along the way. The collection includes around 200 silver coins dating from the 17th century onwards, including a particularly interesting selection from South America. You can almost smell the world when looking at the old paper coin envelopes and reading the name “Port au Prince Mynhandel” on them—a small detail that brings the story of the collection vividly to life. We will also be presenting coins from another collection, also from Sweden’s west coast, assembled by a businessman who travelled extensively throughout the Eastern Bloc and took the opportunity to acquire Russian coins, particularly pieces in better grades. Highlights include around 30 roubles and half-roubles, several of which are of exceptionally high quality.

Foreign Companies:

We are an antiques dealer from Finland specialising in historical arms and armour. For Stockholm Numismatica, we will be bringing a selection of antique silver coins, orders and medals.

We will be exhibiting all the Swedish coins and medals from the autumn L. E. Bruun V Auction, taking place on 27–28 October in Copenhagen. Many of these pieces were acquired at renowned 19th-century auctions such as Humble, Scharp, Oldenburg, and others, and have not been on the market since.

Among the highlights are four 1852 ducats, including the only known example in private ownership—so rare that even the Royal Coin Cabinet in Stockholm does not have one.

We are also ready to accept consignments for our upcoming auctions in Copenhagen, the USA, and Hong Kong.
